Congratulations to the class of 2020! You’ve spent 4+ years of studying, and potentially the past 6-12 months applying for your dream job to start the career you’ve been working towards at college for all these years. No one knew COVID-19 was going to emerge and spread like wildfire throughout the world. nor did anyone know of the devastating impact it would have on the global economy and unemployment. You’re part of the global graduation class of 2020 - now what??

During the significantly trying time facing recent college graduates all over the world, TravelBud is doing everything it can to ensure the class of 2020 make the most of the situation they find themselves in.

TravelBud specializes in paid teaching experiences abroad for recent graduates from all fields of study. We focus heavily on growing one’s intercultural competence, boosting one’s personal and professional development, and providing a unique travel experience abroad which sees our participants return home as more mature and compassionate global citizens, and ultimately more employable candidates for any position in today’s increasingly evolving job market.

The experiences our programs provide have a profound impact on the perspective and mindset of our participants, which sees them heading home determined to have a meaningful impact on our world.

Covid-19 has dealt a heavy blow to recent graduates at a time which should see their careers commencing, most of whom may have spent the last 6 months applying for their dream jobs after many years of studying.

But while the employment prospects for this year’s college graduates has been severely impacted, there’s no reason why they can’t make the most of the opportunity it presents. An opportunity to explore the world when borders reopen soon, earn a good income, and gain the skills and experience employers are searching for.

Through TravelBud’s programs in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and Costa Rica, graduates can gain valuable international work experience, build their resume, and grow on both a personal and professional level - all while exploring a new region of the world and earning a very good salary teaching English to local students.

We have both hybrid (part-virtual) and fully in-person program options available and have plans in place to receive our first post-COVID participants from October 2020 onwards.

The TravelBud team is here and operating at full capacity to ensure the class of 2020 and young professionals around the world make the most of this trying time. Meanwhile, we're ensuring students in the non-English speaking world receive the educations they’re in desperate need of.

We are determined to help students and recent graduates make the most of this trying time we all find ourselves in.

Best wishes,
